Join us in celebrating the magnificent life of Shane Blankenhorn. On June 29th we'll wear all WHITE, and start seaside at The Standard Hotel in Miami Beach. We'll share memories, sip on wine 'till 9, then parade over to The Gaythering for an optional reception.

- TIME: 7pm to 9pm

- LOCATION: The Standard Miami Beach (Seaside)

- ATTIRE: All WHITE & only white

- ACCOMMODATIONS: We recommend The Standard Hotel or The Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach

Shane Blankenhorn had an unparalleled zest for life and never cared much for complacency. Always striving to score one more compliment, one more win, one more achievement, and certainly one more adventure.

Because Shane had such an insatiable desire for more, he bounced around quite a bit, and in doing so, Shane met a *lot* of people over the years. From his early days outside of Philly (#amishvibes), seaside summers on the Jersey shore (#wildinwildwood), college bro life at Clemson (#gotigers), strutting abroad in Spain (#holaalicante), not-so-luxury living in NYC (#luxattache #yogurt), West Coast vibes (#wehobaby), touring the world with Diplo (#jetsetshane), to finally settling down for a few years in Miami (#papisteakenhorn).

Anyone and everyone who interacted with, casually met, or was personally connected to Shane would agree that “To know Shane was to love Shane.” His spirit, vibrancy, wit, and laughter were infectious. He was equal parts sunshine and joy as he was sarcasm and sass.

April 1, 2024, will forever be one of the most heartbreaking days many of us will face. How can someone so great leave us so suddenly, so unexpectedly? It still feels surreal, and unfair—not just for those who knew him but also for the thousands of people who would have felt his impact for years and years to come.

There’s so much love for Shane among his friends, acquaintances, network, family, and beyond, and we are working on efforts to honor the life of our brightest light.

In memory of Shane's vibrant spirit and the countless lives he touched, we’re raising funds to support a celebration of his remarkable life in Miami (details on the date and location will be shared) and to assist his family with the unexpected travel expenses incurred. Any surplus will be directed towards charities that held special significance to Shane, ensuring his legacy of kindness and generosity continues to make a difference in the world.
