Help Makaela Shine on the Varsity Cheerleading Team
As some of you know, Makaela has officially made the varsity cheerleading team at her high school—an incredible accomplishment, especially as a freshman! She’s been dedicated to cheerleading for over three years, and it’s become a huge source of motivation for her, helping her maintain a 3.7 GPA.
I wasn’t expecting her to make varsity this year, but I couldn’t be more proud. However, it does come with a higher set of costs than we anticipated. The total is $2,100 (not including possible state competition expenses in February). I’ve already paid $600, leaving us $1,500 to raise by the end of September.
This year has been a challenging one, and I’m feeling a bit unprepared for the deadlines. In the past, I’ve managed to cover all her expenses on my own, but this time, I’m reaching out—on my 40th birthday—to ask for a little help.
How you can help:
• Any donation, big or small, will make a difference.
• As a thank-you, Makaela is happy to babysit for anyone local who contributes.
• She’ll also send a thank-you note and a photo in her varsity cheer outfit to every supporter.
Your kindness will not only help with the cost but also show Makaela that hard work and dedication are worth it.
Goal Deadline: September 30th
Amount Needed: $1,500
Thank you for cheering her on—both on and off the field
