Sarah Straight shares her kindness, curiosity, wit, and creativity with all of us. Her smile is contagious. Her conversations are engaging. Her art is beautiful. And be it her cheer or her bouncing red ringlets, Sarah somehow brightens every space she enters. Sarah loves and actively cares for the people in her life. In this moment, Sarah could use our support.
Sarah’s mom, Debbie, died unexpectedly this holiday season. Debbie instilled joy and fun into the world. She loved a sewing project, served many through her passion for real estate, and participated consistently in her church community. Debbie was a present wife, mom, and grandmother supporting her family at soccer games, concerts, arts shows, and the days in-between. Debbie journeyed through many trials. Sadly after years of courageous living, her mental health became an overwhelming challenge.
Our hope is to allow Sarah time and space, without financial pressure, to grieve and celebrate her mother’s life. Sarah is multitalented, sustaining herself through a collection of skills. She paints beautiful artwork , teaches classes about movement , and stitches garments from scratch . These require presence and focus. Sarah could use time away to process, be with family, and eventually return to creating without financial pressure.
Let’s show Sarah how loved she is.
