Help Celebrate and Support a Milestone Birthday for Healing

I normally wouldn't ask much of anyone, but I have lost so much of myself in these past few years. Overcoming homelessness as a disabled person has been a tough, long journey that has often left bits of myself to be forgotten in those midnight cry sessions. And I couldn't have gotten to where I am today without the help that I've received from others. So I am creating this GoFundMe because this upcoming birthday will be the very first time that I'll get to celebrate all I've gone through and the dreams I have yet to accomplish. I feel that for the first time, I'm getting to live life on even grounds.

With all of that being said, money is still very, very tight. I'm currently being financially supported by my boyfriend's parents for my medical bills (they are a gift from God) and my boyfriend is working as much as he possibly can to provide for us otherwise. But we are barely keeping our heads above water. I would like a nice birthday, one where I didn't have to worry about finances, one where I could unpack years' worth of trauma without the threat of stress. Birthdays have always been very depressing for me in general. So this time, I want to reclaim that. But I'll need some help.
