Help Cedar and Thompson Family!

Many local friends have asked how we can support Cedar and his family (Shannon, Drew and Paisley) while Cedar recovers in Denver .
Please read the story below. Thank you in advance for your support! Anyone who knows this loving family, knows that they are always there to help out another family or meet you at the park to play:) Let's help Cedar and his family during this difficult time.

What happened?
Cedar was bike riding in Fruita last week when he had a bad fall onto his handle bars. The handle bars provided blunt abdominal trauma to his pancreas and spleen. After spending a few days in Grand Junction hospital they flew him to Children's in Denver to receive surgery.
Cedar surgery: pancreatic duct injury, distal pancreatectomy with splenectomy
(His Spleen and 1/2 of his Pancreas was removed)
While the surgery went great, the recovery will be a few weeks in the hospital in Denver. Additionally he will be on medications for the next year.
How can we help?
Any small amount will help reduce some of the stress this unexpected accident has put on them.
UPDATE:
Today: was a big turn for Cedar! He got up out of bed and walked around our room, short distance. He got the Green light to start some mellow foods ...(which he hasn’t eaten since Thursday) and he was SO pumped.
He went for pancake, mashed potatoes, and apple sauce
He has been making the nurses laugh with his crazy wild hair, funny jokes, & sweet personality. he’s peeking up!
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for your support!! If you cannot give, no worries. Your love and support is plenty. ❤️❤️❤️
