Hello everyone,

This is Kiera and Mega here asking for community support for our beloved friend Cedar.

Cedar has spent the last few years planning, meticulously saving, and advocating for themselves. We are excited that they are finally scheduled to receive gender-affirming facial surgery on November 6. This is a critical step in life for Cedar to align their looks with who they are. This has been a long journey filled with challenges, and it is so close to becoming a reality.

We are reaching out because, despite Cedar having health insurance, budgeting, and saving for two years, the costs are beyond what they can carry alone. Insurance will only cover a portion of the surgery, and Cedar will need 12 weeks off of work to heal (time that is unpaid). Between all of these expenses, we need your help to fill the gaps. Here is what your donations will help cover:
