Help Cecily and Timaya keep their home

My name is Cecily and I am fundraising on behalf of my sweet daughter Timaya. She is a 23yo autistic young lady with a profound intellectual disability, and suffers tremendously with comprehending how to function in life. She will require 24/7 care for the rest of her life, but for some reason Medicaid does not seem to agree since she lives with me. Florida's healthcare system has repeatedly failed her over the course of her life. She suffers from multiple nuances to include hypersensitivity to touch sound and light to name only a few. She has had significant developmental delays that began in infancy. She has an expressive/receptive speech delay, and is selectively mute. We are currently in the middle of a crisis due to her insurance company violating her rights, committing gross negligence, and continuing to deny services for much needed care. The lack of services led to my sweet girl experiencing suicidal ideations, being baker acted, and admitted to a crisis hospital in March 2024. She has since been released back to me. Due to this unfortunate event I can no longer leave her alone, and go to work. This has put us at risk to lose our home. This would be devastating for her due to her specific autistic ritualistic behaviors, meltdowns, and potential for self-harm. She has always been afraid of the world, yet clings to those she chooses as her "people". I am one of those people, and I take the best care of her that I can. I am a nurse, and am unable to go out into the field to work as I do not have the support available to me by her insurance company. I have filed complaints, and even called the Governor's office to no avail. I've been fighting for over 2.5 years now. I am desperately trying to keep us together as a family unit. I am a single mother, and lost my only other secondary caregiver when my mother her grandmother passed unexpectedly in 2021. I have always prided myself on working hard to care for her on my own, but I need help now. The stress of all of this has begun to affect me physically, and medically. I am so scared for her, and for us as a family.
