Help Cecilia Give Her Brother David a Proper Burial

Hello, my name is Cecilia Benavides-Ceballo, and I come here today with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

On Monday, October 20, 2025, I received one of the hardest phone calls of my life. My brother David was found unresponsive in his room in New York and was later pronounced dead.

David had been struggling with COPD and diabetes, and we were doing our best to get him stable enough to move to Florida so my husband and I could help care for him. Sadly, we never got that chance.

David did not have life insurance, a pension, or savings, and as his sister and next of kin, I am now doing everything I can to make sure he receives a proper burial—something that honors his life and the love we had for him.

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m usually the first to help others in their time of need. That’s why this is so difficult for me to write. But today, I find myself in the position of needing help.
