Our 4-month-old daughter, Cecilia, is currently fighting for her breath in the hospital. What started as a cough has turned into a severe case of RSV and Bronchitis, resulting in a dangerous viral infection in her lungs. Watching our tiny girl struggle to breathe is a pain no parent should have to endure. Doctors have informed us that she will be hospitalized for at least the next 5 days, though it is likely to be much longer depending on her recovery.

A Series of Hardships

This medical emergency comes on the heels of another tragedy. Recently, our family was involved in a serious car accident. Cecilia’s father suffered a neck fracture in the crash, leaving him unable to work as he heals. Because of this loss of income, we lost our independent housing and have been staying with family just to get by.

Why We Need Your Help

Now that we are at Cecilia’s bedside, our situation has reached a breaking point. Being at the hospital around the clock means:

We cannot afford basic meals for ourselves while we stay with her.

We do not have the funds for transportation to get back and forth.

We are struggling to cover the basic necessities required to keep our family functioning while Cecilia fights for her life.
