On April 20th, Cecile's mom suffered a heart attack and was admitted to McLaren Hospital. She spent several days in the ICU, and while there was a brief period of improvement, doctors later discovered that the right side of her heart was weak and needed additional support. They placed a heart pump to help her heart pump blood, and after that procedure, her care team decided she needed more advanced treatment. She was airlifted to the Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids, where she is continuing to receive care.
This has been an incredibly frightening and overwhelming time for Cecile and their family. With Cecile's mom hospitalized and unable to work for the foreseeable future, everyday expenses are quickly becoming difficult to manage. Medical costs are still unknown, and at the same time, regular bills continue to come due. Cecile is also off work right now, which adds even more strain as they try to keep up with rent and other household needs.
Cecile is sharing this fundraiser with their mom's permission and asking for a little help during this difficult season. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go toward rent, bills, and essential expenses while their mom focuses on healing. If you are not able to give, sharing this fundraiser and keeping their family in your thoughts and prayers would mean so much. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this time.
