Help Ceci after her house caught on fire

Our dear friend Ceci has had a tragic accident and needs our help. For those who may not know her, Ceci is 61 years old, is a much-loved member of her family and community in Manizales, Colombia, and was living in her humble house alone with just her beloved cat.

 

On Saturday night, December 18th, Ceci was sleeping in her small home when she woke up to find the entire first floor of her house was on fire, and the fire had begun to spread up to her bedroom on the second floor. By that time, she couldn't see anything because of the smoke and she already had inhaled a lot of smoke. She started to look for her cat before trying to get out of the house but it was impossible, she couldn't see anything or get to the front door downstairs. So she went quickly to her balcony, and then she jumped. Luckily she was not badly burned, but when she jumped from the balcony to escape her burning house, she broke many bones including her spine, pelvis, and ribs. She also suffered a lot of injury to her lungs.

 

Ceci is now fat the hospital trying to recover physically and mentally. It's very sad because she lost everything in the fire, but it's a miracle that she is still here.
