Cece is the sweetest, most loving, cuddly pup and a member of our family. Last Wednesday, May 6th, she was attacked by our neighbor's dog through our fence that separates our backyards leaving her severely wounded. The attack left Cece with punctures and gashes to her cheek, nose, head, and right ear ripped into two. We rushed her to the animal hospital, where she was put under anesthesia so her injuries could be treated. Since then, she's been on painkillers, anti-inflammatories, and antibiotics to help her heal. Unfortunately, her recovery has been tough. The stitches in her ear didn't hold, and she had to go back under anesthesia for another procedure. If her ear doesn't heal, she may need to have the flap removed to prevent further complications or infections. On top of Cece's medical needs, the impact of the attack damaged our fence so we are now in the process of getting that replaced to make sure this never happens again to Cece, our other pups or any of our kids that may get near the fence. Between the unexpected vet bills and the cost of the new fence, we are asking for any help. Any donation, no matter how small, truly helps more than you imagine. If you can't donate, sharing this would mean so much. Thank you for helping us get Cece back on her paws.
