Thank you for clicking and taking the time to read my story!
I'm 24 years old, and, in the short of it, three of my impacted wisdom teeth need to be removed, as well as a molar stuck below the gum line embedded into my jaw. (A coronectomy needs to performed for that tooth; my wisdom grew on top of it causing it to never fully breakthrough like it was supposed to). How they've grown in, and where they're located in my mouth, is causing a nightmare of severe pain to my gums and surrounding teeth. So much so that after this procedure I may need to consider braces because my teeth can get even worse.
They've been like this since I was 17 because my family never had the proper funds or dental insurance to fix these issues (a majority of our money went to reconstructive surgeries to my face), and now, working part time, I have very cheap insurance which is covering basically nothing. This insurance isn't given to me through my employer, just a Humana Dental PPO plan I pay out of pocket.
The remaining total due is an estimate of $2,563 which includes the extractions, the coronectomy, any antibiotics / steroids / anti-inflammatory medication they'll administrate to me, sedation, and anesthesia.
The office performing this surgery would like this payment the day of upfront and they don't offer any payments plans at this time. My teeth have been such a big stress to me over these last eight years and I'm afraid that if I don't get this done soon they'll get infected and I'll have a bigger issue on my hands. I've learned that as you get older, dental work becomes more of a challenge for the individual, I hope to get this taken care of before it's too late.
To everyone who reads this, thank you! Simply taking the time to read my story means a lot to me. I'm grateful for any possible donations no matter the size, and I'm appreciative that you'd help me at this time! <3
