Hi! I go by Cece, but many of you may know me as Cheyenne!
A bit about me: I am 31 years old, living with autism, schizophrenia, lupus, cyclic vomiting syndrome, POTS, and a long list of comorbidities that seem quite literally endless. I have been disabled for my entire life, with things taking a detrimental turn for the worst throughout my adulthood.
I'm rollator/wheelchair dependent these days (previously, I used to use my cane, occasionally ambulating with a seated rollator) and rely heavily on mobility aids to get around. I have had trouble getting my insurance to cover these mobility aids. I have had nothing but troubles trying to obtain SSI, which I am still doing whilst working with a lawyer team.
Unfortunately, this long list of health issues paired with a lack of income, and a lack of access to accessibility via being denied insurance coverage for these mobility aids has left me in a terrible predicament. I feel I have no quality of life, I am continuously scraping by on choppy coverage, and I would say it's choppy at its BEST. I'd love to be able to get myself a wheelchair, a new shower chair, pick up some of the medications I'm unable to afford currently, as well as maybe even get myself some clothes that actually fit, and are easy to put on. Due to being almost 100% homebound, I've had an impactful weight gain and have barely been scraping by with secondhand clothes and shoes.
If you can give me ANY support in this time of my ongoing need, it would be forever appreciated. I simply don't know how I'm supposed to keep pushing forward, without any type of help. So here I am, reaching out to all of you! Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read this.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I do not have a stable or legitimate bank so a close friend will be handling the withdrawals on my behalf. I'm the one you're funding! thanks!
