Hello friends,

I’m raising funds to support my family and our neighboring communities in Cebu. Over the past month, the island has faced a series of devastating events. First a 6.9 earthquake and weeks of aftershocks, followed by Typhoon Kalmaegi , which struck just last week.

Combined these disasters have resulted in over 500 deaths, thousands of injuries, and nearly a billion USD in damages. More than half a million people have been displaced. Beyond the homes lost, many of Cebu’s historical landmarks and heritage monuments have been damaged or lost completely. Many public and community hubs like schools parks and beaches have also been devastated.

My family in Cebu are nurses and first responders who have been working tirelessly since the earthquake to care for those affected. While we’ve done our best to support them and our surrounding communities, the impact of the typhoon has left them in an extremely difficult position.

We’re asking for your help...any contribution, big or small, will make a difference in helping families rebuild and recover.
