Typhoon Rai (locally known as Typhoon Odette): Tens of thousands of people have had their homes severely damaged or absolutely destroyed in Cebu, Siargao, Leyte, Bohol, Palawan and other islands in the typhoon’s path. My family - Donnie, Jenny and their 2 year old son Isaiah - and their neighbors need help.

"We are able to make do and find ways to get by. We still consider ourselves immensely fortunate. But there are thousands of families who are living in make shift houses from the scraps left by the typhoon and some of them are literally dying of dehydration. Another tropical depression is incoming and this will leave thousands exposed to the mercy of the elements again. " - Jenny

Slowly, the roads have been cleared and few areas have electricity and rationed water stations. However, much of the city and far flung areas remain without shelter, electricity, water, and basic necessities.

Donnie and Jenny are actively working with families and friends from CDO and Manila to help source clean drinking water, send water filtration devices, acquire building materials and gather relief goods to be imported to Cebu.
