Help CCFC G05 get to the Paris World Games

Please consider supporting our Culver City Football Club (CCFC) Girls 2005 team in their effort to participate in the Paris World Games this summer. CCFC is a very small but proud club and the Girls 2005 team is a great embodiment of our city, representing cultural and socioeconomic diversity.
We face many challenges being a small club with only a handful of teams. The bigger, more established and well-known clubs in the Los Angeles area have multiple teams per age group and significantly greater resources. Our club relies on parents and volunteers to fundraise for our teams.
The Girls 2005 team is an outstanding group of girls that has accomplished a lot in their relatively short time together. Just over 2 years ago, they started competing in the Bronze (lower) division. Through hard work and dedication, they won the division championship. Subsequently, they challenged themselves by advancing up two levels to the Silver Elite division. Playing against some of the top teams in the region, they struggled early on but finished strong. Their goal is to compete in the elite Gold division next year, which would be a tremendous accomplishment.
To further their soccer development and provide an unbelievable and enriching cultural experience for the girls, the team has registered for an international tournament, the Paris World Games, which is taking place at the same time as the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France. If we are lucky, the team will be able to see the US Women’s National Team play in the World Cup Final!
That said, to make this trip possible, we have a significant fundraising task ahead of us and we hope our friends, family and community will support the team in this last push to raise funds to send all 13 girls to France. The goal is to raise $30,000, a little bit over $2,000 per girl. This will cover airfare, lodging, transportation, World Cup Final tickets and tournament fees for each of the girls. After multiple yard sales, bake sales, TV show tapings, etc. we have been able to raise about 1/3 of our goal. Thank you all for your continued support, together we can reach the GOAL!
