Hello, my name is Laila and I am raising funds to support a Colorado College student in need of urgent medical care. This student reached out to me, one of the CC Mutual Aid organizers, requesting funding from our group, but we were unable to meet their full need due to a shortage of funds. CC's emergency fund also did not provide sufficient funding to support this student, so I got permission from the student to create this fundraiser on their behalf.

This student has recently been in an accident that led to an $8000 hospital bill. Due to their family's financial situation, they are unable to pay a large percentage of that bill. Unfortunately, this expense led them to be unable to afford other medical expenses, including cardiology treatments. They are also in need of funding for mental health treatment after being involved in a traumatic incident on campus earlier in the school year.
