Canterbury Brook Academy of the Arts is a small, private, K-12 school located in Newburgh, New York. Unique among other schools, CBA is a teacher-founded, teacher-run entity designed based on the concept of "know better, do better" and the daily application of best practice educational methodologies and data-informed instruction. The school strives to keep tuition as low as possible and works with families to enable them to provide their children with a personalized education in a nurturing atmosphere. All different styles of learner are served in this program that maintains a strict 10:1 student to teacher ratio and works on a mastery based approach to instruction. With the opportunity to take daily classes in visual arts, dance, instrumental music, vocal music, theater, domestic arts, and SEL (social-emotional learning) in addition to a fantastic standard academic curriculum, CBA offers far more than any other local option at a much lower price point.
