Cayden Made It to Team USA — Now Help Us Stand Behind Him in Vancouver
We are so incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support that helped Cayden meet his AHIHA fundraising goal to travel and compete at the World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships with Team USA. Thanks to you, he's officially headed to Vancouver!
Now, we’re hoping you’ll consider supporting the next part of his journey — not just getting there, but having his family there to stand behind him when he steps onto the ice, representing Vegas, the Deaf community, and the United States.
For a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity like this, we dream of being there to cheer him on, to share this incredible moment, and to let him know he’s not alone as he represents so many.
Travel for families isn’t covered by AHIHA's fundraiser — and while we’re doing everything we can, it’s a real stretch to cover travel and lodging costs on top of daily life. Any amount helps. Your support doesn't just send a family to a game — it gives a 17-year-old young man the gift of seeing his family’s faces in the crowd when he achieves a dream he's worked for his whole life.
Thank you for helping us get him this far.
Thank you for believing in him — and us.
We truly couldn't do this without you.
With all our gratitude,
The Herrera Family
