Helping the community cats of Midwood, Brooklyn
Every single day rain or shine, Cats of Midwood inc is out on the streets caring for community cats of our Midwood neighborhood.
Right now, our team feeds and monitors over 150 outdoor cats daily, while actively managing colony sizes through humane Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), medical care, foster and adoption.
Why We Need Your Help:
Right now, our team feeds and monitors 150 outdoor cats daily across our local colonies to keep everyone fed and healthy, we go through 60 cans of wet food and an entire 23 lb bag of dry food every single day.
Keeping 150+ cats fed, healthy, and spayed/neutered takes continuous community support. High food costs, winter shelter supplies, and emergency vet treatments for injured or sick street cats add up quickly.
We rely entirely on donations from the community and cat lovers to keep our daily operations running.
How Your Donation Helps:
- $25: Pays for 1 full 23 lb bag of dry food (1 day of dry food).
- $50: Pays for 60 cans of wet food (1 day of wet food).
- $75: Feeds all 150 cats both wet and dry food for 1 full day.
- $200: Funds an adult TNR Package (Spay/Neuter, rabies & FVRCP vaccines, ear-tip, flea treatment, and recovery care).
- $250: Covers a full Kitten Medical Package (Spay/Neuter, core vaccine series, deworming, microchip, and foster intake exam).
- $525: Feeds the entire colony network for a full week ($525 = 7 days of food).
Every dollar donated goes directly toward food, humane traps, recovery crates, and veterinary care for Midwood's community cats.
