HELP CATS GET TO SANCTUARY

Hi everyone,

I hate begging for help. But I have an urgent situation. I am a stay at home mom and I use any birthday or holiday money I get for me for the animals, but I will not have enough for this. In Rosedale queens, there is a woman who has been feeding outside ferals on the property that she’s renting for seven years. She was diagnosed with cancer and is therefore on disability. Her landlord, after seven years wants to increase her rent she cannot afford it. She had to move to Rochester in with her sister over the weekend. The six cats are still on the property where she was renting. The landlord hates the cats. He came and threw all the winter shelters and feeding station away yesterday. Her neighbor was going to feed for her but he reneged on the deal. I found a sanctuary to take all six cats. The people who own the sanctuary wants the six cats to get certain medical done in order to come into the sanctuary. I shopped around with a few vets and their prices were ridiculous. Shinnecock animal hospital will only charge $1600 total for all six cats medical. The woman is having a hard time coming up with the money as she can’t afford rent. Time is of the essence because it’s winter and the landlord just threw out the shelters. Thank God it is actually warm today. I so hate asking but please,please help . Please help me raise the funds necessary to get these innocent fur babies to rescue.

They keep waiting on the front porch of the only house they have known for the past 7 years, wondering why their caretaker hasn’t come out to care for and feed them….
