Cathy was diagnosed with Breast cancer in April of 2019. She underwent a double mastectomy only to return for emergency surgery 3 weeks later due to an aggressive Staff infection. All of the reconstruction which had been done immediately post mastectomy had to be removed. Cathy tested positive for HER2 which meant that this was a more aggressive type of breast cancer. She has just completed 3 months of weekly targeted chemotherapy treatments and will have monthly treatments for the next 12 months. She has been unable to work during this time and as someone who has worked since she was a young teen this has been devastating. Cathy has been and continues to be uncomfortable asking for help so I am asking for her.Needless to say, the family has taken a huge financial hit during this trying time. Cath is usually the one showing up with the meals, the baked goods, the flowers and the visits for others. But now she is the one needing a hand up. Mortgage payments, heating oil and property taxes still have to be paid and Groceries need to be purchased weekly. Christmas is weeks away and the bills are piling up. The situation has now reached a point where help is needed. Thankyou for taking the time to read this. If you are unable to help personally, please share our campaign with others via social media. Thankyou and God Bless.
