Help Cathy O. Beat Cancer!

Hello, my name is Cathy Omodio. Up to now, I have enjoyed an independent career and active, productive life with years of good health, but without warning on July 6, 2023, I was diagnosed with Stage III pancreatic cancer.

Prior to my diagnosis, while working as a project manager, I became ill in June, and on July 5, my work assignment was cancelled by the customer. This termination of my contract ended my full-time income and cancelled my employer-sponsored medical insurance coverage.

I am setting forth on my journey through chemotherapy to hopefully regain my health, career and independence.

My campaign is being set up to gain some financial assistance and to help defray the cost of my surgery and household expenses, as I will be unable to work for the next nine months of chemotherapy and recovery.

The Whipple surgery was performed July 25 and I would like to thank my surgical team at OhioHealth who performed this life-saving surgery.

I would like to thank the strangers who continue to step forward and offer to pray for me in the most unlikely / untraditional places (parking lots, dairy marts, parks, etc.) This is proof that God is everywhere
