Help Cathy Milks with Medical Expenses

As many of you may know, our dear friend Cathy Milks has had some medical setbacks as of late.

Her troubles first began on Easter weekend when her knee gave out and she was bed ridden and became ill. Things deteriorated until she was taken by ambulance to Strong Memorial hospital on April 11th. A bad infection in her knee was discovered which required emergency surgery. She remains hospitalized at this time, unable to walk and in a great deal of pain with multiple issues. She will move to rehab when she is able.

Besides the hospital bill she will also have a substantial co-pay for rehab. In addition, she will need medical equipment to manage when she returns to her split-level home, including a chair lift which runs about $3-4K for a refurbished one and $5k for a new one. She does not have the means to meet these expenses and cannot function at home without the equipment.
