Help Cathy Fund Her Very First Music Video!

Hello! My name is Cathy Sucgang, and I'm a small indie artist based in Maryland. I've been releasing music since 2020, and now I'm looking to fund my very first music video!

By the time you're reading this, my new song "Icarus" will be out on all streaming platforms. Every step of the process, from writing to final production, has been taken with love, care, and passion over the past year. As an artist, I believe that it's important to tell stories from the heart, so that they can reach the hearts of others and affirm whatever emotional journey they're going through. A song alone can only do so much; I believe there's a greater story here that deserves to be told visually as well. I know you may have some questions, so let me answer some of them here:

What's the vision for the music video?

While I can't give too much of the concept away, the song "Icarus" speaks to what it's like to fly in love, fall in love, and what we learn from love when it ends; the music video seeks to tell a similar story. This project also includes a small casting opportunity and will (hopefully) feature some beautiful/iconic areas in DC.

Where will the money go?

Our budget seeks to cover permit costs for locations we want to use, compensation for cast and crew we're seeking to tap, as well as other essentials such as costumes, makeup, props, gas, etc.

Why should I donate?

Being an independent artist can be challenging, especially since I am not financially backed by a label. However, I'm still committed to making something special for this release and provide something extra for listeners who have been supporting me all these years. Anyone who donates to this cause will have their names shown at the end credits of the video (if they wish).

What if I can't donate?
