I am seeking help to get my wife, Cathy, to Mexico for life saving treatment for Chronic Lyme Disease.

My beautiful wife Cathy was a teacher, foster parent, and a very active mom until she got sick. She had a passion for helping people, especially her children and family. Cathy was even starting to create her own business and sell her baked goods. Due to the severity of this illness, Cathy has had to give up almost everything.

5.5 years ago, right before COVID hit, she began experiencing the worse symptoms. She had constant pain throughout her entire body, neurological symptoms, fatigue, body tremors, loss of speech, numbness and weakness, and insomnia. It took us almost 2 years to find out what was wrong and then treatment began. She had to fly out of state for treatment because we don’t have any Lyme literate doctors here in Alaska. We put everything we had into Cathy’s treatment, flying back and forth every month or so see her doctor and then all the supplements and medications. Lyme disease treatment isn’t supported after the typical, initial 30 days so almost everything was out of pocket expenses. Cathy didn’t respond to her treatments and her doctors had her try IV meds. Again, they were not seeing the improvement they hoped for and it just seemed like nothing was going to help. She had oral antibiotics, IV antibiotics, countless supplements, infrared sauna treatments, IV glutathione, and all herbal protocols.

This disease has been debilitating. Cathy needs support to get dressed, shower, complete daily tasks, and care for our kids. Cathy was fiercely independent and this change has been extremely difficult for her. Cathy’s symptoms over the years have worsened and she’ll tell you she is just a shell of who she used to be. We are in the process of getting her a motorized wheelchair so that she has support walking but also some independence.

I want to send Cathy to a medical clinic in Mexico to receive life changing treatment. The clinic is Sanoviv Medical and they offer wrap around medical care. Cathy will be seen by a team of doctors: medical, dental, nutritionist, chiropractor, psychologist. Cathy is a little reluctant to take this next step because she feels guilty over all the medical costs. We just barely paid off all of her bills and for us to take on this next expense has her pausing.

We need $40,000 to get Cathy to Mexico for her treatment and anything extra will go towards her continued medical needs afterwards. Your generous donations will directly go towards:
