Help Cathy buy a truck for her furniture ministry
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Cathy Kingsbury Bradford Keagy. After retirement, I became involved in my husband’s food ministry to a poor area in N Charleston, SC. After helping him for months, I got to know the people in that area and saw the living conditions they were in. I knew that people in my area(Mt. Pleasant, SC) had garages and storage units full of household items and furniture they did not use. I wanted to be a conduit for furniture and household items from Mt. Pleasant out to North Charleston, SC, where the need is great. My husband was using a box truck from a small church in the area. I was given permission to use the truck on days they were not using it for food. Well, now the truck has died, and the church cannot afford a new one. I have been renting U Haul trucks for the past several months, because I do not want to stop the momentum of donations I am receiving. I pay for two storage units as well as the salaries of my movers. It would help not to have to pay to rent commercial trucks also. The new truck would be the property of Jehovah Tabernacle, a Christian Church in North Charleston, SC and be used for my ministry as well as their ongoing food ministry. Thank you for any help you can be to these dear people in
North Charleston.
