Help Cathy after Fire and mounting medical bills

Cathy has been hospitalized 2 more times since she the house fire that took everything from her. The bills are starting to mount up and any relief is respectfully welcomed.

Tuesday, January 21, 2025, our dear friend Cathy Hamnley (Gates) lost her home to a 2-alarm fire in the Ocean View area of Norfolk, Virginia. In that fire, 4 people and their pets were displaced. All members who shared space in the home lost EVERYTHING, including a few of their beloved animals. This was an absolutely unexpected and devastating loss to all involved.

By request from the family, friends, and community, we have arranged a GoFundMe for Cathy and family. We are gathering more information as the other folks living there are also in the hospital. But they will need help regaining clothing and personal care items and things to help get them all back on their feet. Cathy's daughter Amanda will oversee the donations and the care of her mother while she is still in the hospital.
