Hello my name is Cathryn Nelson. This is really hard for me to do because I know people are going to judge me. I have asked everyone I know for help and they just cant right now. On November 4th was the first time we were getting cash assistance from link. My husband and I lost our jobs so thats why were were getting the cash assistance. Some how someone got our card number and pin from a scammed divice at one of the store we were using our link card at. This was the first month we were to get $1,400 cash to pull off our link. My mom and husband went to gurnee police station and filled a report on the 4th after it happened. At midnight on the 4th, the money was loaded onto our card. This guy went into Speedway Gas station to the atm and made 7 $200 cash withdrawals. We know which gas station, and they showed us the video. The police have everything, but we are out $1,400 this month. That was to pay for our rent and bills. The last few weeks have been really hard. Sorry for the long message, but I thought maybe if I explained more, you would understand why I have asked. The link office may replace the money, but I'm not sure yet. We submitted all the paperwork we needed to to the link office. We are just playing the waiting game until we hear if are getting that $1,400 back from link. We were able to get $400 of the $1,100 we are short to paid for our rent from my husband's brother's and my sister and brother all sending some of what they could do. Please if anyone can help even if people can send $1 each. Please keep my family in your prayers, please. On top of dealing with that my 2 year old just got out the hospital with RSV. We were in there for 4 days because he was having a hard time breathing. He is doing so much better now. So anything will help please.
