Hello, my name is Catherine Nankabirwa from Kampala, Uganda.
I'm thrilled and deeply honoured to have been selected for the inaugural cohort of the Master's in Management of Technology at Tetr College of Business, a 12-month, full-time program starting September 2026 across Dubai, Shanghai, and Madrid.
Tetr named after "Tetris" blocks fitting perfectly selects exceptional candidates from thousands of worldwide applicants. They believe, as I did, that I have the potential to shape the program's legacy and make a global contribution.
They awarded me a USD 20,000 scholarship, reflecting how my achievements align with their vision: "Big dreams deserve belief... We're proud to back your potential."
The program focuses on experiential learning through building real startups, collaborating globally, and learning from Ivy League professors and industry leaders via immersive experiences while collaborating worldwide. It will equip me to innovate in tech-business, launch ventures, and drive economic growth back in Uganda, creating opportunities for my community at home.
The challenge: The total program cost is USD 97,000, covering tuition, immersions, admin, accommodation, flights between terms, visa support. After my scholarship, I still need USD 77,000 to secure my spot.
Last year, 2025, I was accepted into the University of San Francisco's MBA 2-year program. I resigned from my job, spent my savings on school application fees, a deposit to the school to secure my placement, a laptop, U.S. visa fees, MRV + SEVIS, but unfortunately, my visa was denied, and my savings were gone, no buffer left.
Loans? Prodigy Finance suspended support for African students, including Ugandans, for student loans, and MPOWER only covers study in the USA/Canada. No other viable options.
Your support, any amount, will cover instalments and let me focus on learning, not debt. I'll post updates and share how I'm building ventures.
Thank you for reading and believing in my dream. Your generosity can change everything.
With deep gratitude,
Catherine Nankabirwa
