Help Catherine fight her battle with Breast Cancer.

My name is Tania Collishaw, and I'm asking for you to please consider donating to my dear friend Catherine McLune, who has recently been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of Breast Cancer (TMBC - Triple Negative Breast Cancer) at the age of 52 years old.

She has just started her gruelling TRT of weekly chemo and Immuno therapy which will be once a week for the next 6 months, then Catherine will have a Double Mastectomy (both breasts removed). She will have aprox 2 months recovery, then will continue chemo and Immuno therapy for up to 18 months or more. Her oncologist told her it is going to be a tough road ahead as she will experience some extreme side effects, as she will be on the highest dosages.

I met Catherine almost 19 years ago in Anti-Natal class, where we were both pregnant with our daughters and we have been good friends ever since.

As long as I've known Catherine she has done it tough most of her life, being a single mum and struggling to raise her beautiful daughter Lacey on her own, while still managing to put her through a private high school.

And 2 years ago I was so proud of my friend finally being able to purchase her own home by herself it was a real Accomplishment. Unfortunately Catherine is now in a situation where she is not able to work and due to this lengthy TRT plan, Catherine doesn't have enough money to make ends meet.

As I write this my eyes well up with tears, because my poor friend really needs a break from all this hardship and I really dont want my friend to go through anymore stress than she has too. As you know financial pressures are enough as it is, let alone having this diagnosis on top of everything else she is going through.
