Hello, as most know, Catherine had to have an emergency C-section, 6 weeks early, on September 26, 2025. Griffin was taken to McLane's NICU in Temple where he spent several hours receiving treatment and it was determined that he needed an even higher acuity of care due to several heart defects that had gone undetected even through multiple prenatal comprehensive high-risk ultrasounds. Griffin was then life-flighted to Dell Children's in Austin where he remains in critical condition in the Cardiac ICU. He has several heart defects that will require open-heart surgery, as well as possible brain injuries due to his oxygen saturation remaining incredibly low for several hours while receiving care at SW NICU in Temple. He will be in the Cardiac ICU for an indeterminable amount of time.

With this being said, we are trying to come together and raise money so that Catherine and James can put all their time into making sure Griffin has them by his side, along with still spending time with the 2 children that remain in Waco, instead of having to rush back to work to make ends meet, as all of this was very unexpected.
