My name is Catherine. I'm a trans woman living in New Orleans. I'm here to ask for your support in funding my breast augmentation surgery, with the goal of having surgery by the end of this year or early next year.

In consultation with a surgeon about my needs and desires, I have decided that I would undergo breast augmentation via fat transfer. This process feels like the most sensible and right option for me to achieve a natural outcome, especially after considering the temporariness and potential health risks associated with implants. Unfortunately, transition related surgery is not covered by my insurance and remains more costly than I can save up for despite working full-time. The amount being raised will cover the costs of surgery, travel, and time taken off from work to recover.

I've been medically transitioning for over 7 years now. It feels like I have reached the limits of what hormone therapy can do for me in terms of breast development. This surgery would help me feel a lot more comfortable and at peace in my body and life.
