Meet Catherine

Cat is a beacon of light in the lives of everyone who knows her. She is kind, compassionate, silly at times, serious, devoted to her son Jonathan and her friends. She works in real estate with always the best interest in mind for her clients that became friends. She also has a passion to rescue bees, is a hobby beekeeper, and makes natural products that she shares with friends. (She is limited to work as she is battling cancer presently.)

The fight for her life

Cat was first diagnosed with cancer in 2020 amidst COVID, which made it extra challenging. After months of intense treatment, she faced her illness with incredible strength and a positive attitude that inspired everyone around her. For a while, it seemed like she had beaten the odds, but last month the unthinkable happened. The cancer returned, now at an advanced stage. She believes in the power of combining traditional treatment and alternative therapies that could offer her a chance at life, but these options are costly and not covered by her insurance.

The path forward

Cat's dream is to pursue a specialized treatment that has shown promising results for stage 4 cancer patients. This approach, while not covered by insurance, offers a glimpse of hope for extending her life. The total costs for her treatment and the associated travel and living expenses amount to $140,000.
