Cate’s journey just got harder.

After finishing 6 rounds of chemotherapy and going through a mastectomy, Cate and her loved ones were hoping she was finally turning a corner. But during her follow-up care, doctors discovered that cancer cells are still present.

Hearing this news was heartbreaking. It has taken a huge emotional toll on Cate and her family. Just when she thought she might be able to focus on healing, she learned that her fight isn’t over yet.

Now, Cate is starting another round of treatment—a combination of chemo and radiation at the same time. This means more time in hospitals, more side effects, and more time away from work and everyday life. She’s still healing from surgery, and now she has to find the strength to keep going through even more.

It’s exhausting. It’s scary. And it’s expensive. But Cate is holding on, one day at a time. She’s trying to stay strong, even when it’s overwhelming.

This next phase will last several months. She needs all the support we can give—emotionally, physically, and financially.

She’s the kind of person who never hesitates to show up when someone is in need, whether it’s a friend, a family member, or even a stranger. She’s the first to offer comfort, lend a helping hand, or simply brighten someone’s day with her infectious smile. Now, it’s time for us to show up for her.

Cate was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and tragically, it has already spread to her lymph nodes. The news has been devastating for Cate and her family, but true to her nature, Cate is determined to fight. She’s stepping into this battle with courage, but the road ahead will be long and difficult.

She’s facing surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments, along with countless medical appointments and tests. All of this means significant time off work and mounting expenses, not just for medical bills but also for travel, groceries, and basic living costs.
