HELP CATCH THE MIRA MESA STALKER!

Last Saturday on June 29th, 2019, somebody randomly started throwing rocks at the front window of our house and proceeded to break it! My niece came to get us just in time for us to hear the glass shatter. My husband ran out and saw a man in a black hoodie waving a flashlight and walking backwards down the street talking jibberish. Of course I called 911 and when the police got here, he was gone and they could not find him. We’re all freaked out and my niece’s window is in the front of the house and she’s so scared. I don’t know what to do. We’re on Whitehall and the man was headed towards Alcamo..just wanted to warn my neighbors
UPDATE: Same guy came again banging on our front door metal screen at 4am on the 29th..called the police again but so far they haven’t found anybody. Our RV windshield is also smashed. He’s obviously hiding in somebody’s yard or somewhere. So, so scary. We can’t sleep and clearly this guy has an agenda. I have no idea who this person is or why they’re coming to our house. I have 3 small children and don’t know what to do.
UPDATE 2: The next day on the 30th, we also found our tires slashed on our car. We got them fixed and on our way to a hotel the next day (as we were scared to stay at home), we got a third flat tire on the freeway, and obviously this guy did something to the other tire as well. We got stuck in a bad part of El Cajon and had to stay there until the next day. After coming home, there have been no more incidents as of yet. A detective called us as well, looking for more information. I’m so thankful they followed up with us. I’ll keep everyone updated, as this could’ve happened to any of us.
UPDATE 3: On Fourth of July, a little before 10pm, this guy came back! Please everyone be aware!!! We watched fireworks and my niece and nephew were spending the night (so we had 5 kids under the age of 10). After fireworks, we put pajamas on the kids and they all settled in on my bed to watch a movie. Myself, my husband, and our neighbor sat in the backyard for maybe 3 minutes and all of a sudden something flew past my head. I look over and this guy is on our roof throwing rocks directly at us!!! He hit my husband on his knee and his knee was extremely swollen and he could hardly walk. The rock flew past my head! If it would’ve hit me in the side of the head or hit one of my children, it easily could’ve killed somebody. The guy took off on a bike and this time was wearing a white shirt and black pants. The police came out again, but unfortunately, no help really. They were here for a few minutes and then took off after seeing someone running at the end of the street, but never came back. This guy enjoys trying to catch us off guard, and I think he really enjoys terrorizing people. I am beyond defeated. After 16 years at our home, I’m ready to move. My niece and nephew went home that night on the 4th, and never want to come over again (usually they stay the whole summer) and I sent my kids to stay with my sister as well. This is beyond anything that anyone should ever have to deal with. I cannot live like this, nor can I raise my kids like this. I’m not sure what to do. I’m scared to death to be in my own home.
UPDATE 4: My husband went to the emergency room yesterday at about 4am after being hit in the knee with the rock this guy threw from our roof. We have abandoned our house for the time being and are in the process of getting cameras. This is serious. I wish the police were as interested in helping as my neighbors are. I don’t think I’ll be going home until this guy is caught. I’m not sure how this is going to even be financially possible. My husband can’t even hardly walk, and with all this going on, we can’t even work. My niece and nephew usually spend the whole summer with us and our kids as well, but obviously they can’t. I don’t know where to go from here. This guy MUST be caught.
UPDATE 5: SO, I feel like maybe we’re finally getting somewhere!!! After checking on our house and making sure everything was ok, my husband and brother in law started driving around our neighborhood talking to neighbors and whoever they would run into telling them our story. This man is possibly living in a homeless encampment that is behind a middle school school and next to a park in our neighborhood! WAY too close to children or any of the rest of us! They talked to different people on Alcamo by our house and they said they they’ve seen the guy on Fourth of July! Somebody saw this man crouched behind his truck and he thought the guy was trying to steal his tools but the guy ran away but he did not call the police..I believe this was the same time right after he was on our roof. He said his neighbor chased this guy at one point (I don’t know if it was on the same night) and could identify the guy but the neighbor was not home. My husband also talked to neighbors on Sandy Hook and Winterwood and they know this guy too. They said they’re scared too and one of them said their drug addicted son lives in the canyon at the park on Sandy Hook and Winterwood and that this guy is friends with their son. He is a middle eastern man and they said he’s always mostly wearing a black hoodie, although we saw him in a white shirt on the 4th. The neighbor who’s son knows him, said he is schizophrenic and on meth. They also said he had been sent to a mental institution for 2 years and he was released now as of about 2 weeks ago. Another neighbor said he found this guy in their backyard (their house was being remodeled so it looked empty) with his pants down sitting in a chair acting like it was his own house and had been inside his house as well inside the bathroom doing something with screens and sand? He chased the guy off, but also never called the police. He said his neighbor across the street warned him that this guy was back in the neighborhood about 2 weeks ago. Another neighbor said they found him in their garage. You guys this has to be the same person!!!! He fits the description perfectly and they offered the info that he was speaking jibberish and makes no sense when he talks, which is spot on. I know we can find this guy!!! I’m just unsure what would happen if he was found. I’m afraid he would just be spit back out onto our streets again! I’m so glad we ventured out a little further onto other streets and got a lot of great leads. Stay vigilant!!! We’re so close to catching this guy!!! I set up this GoFundMe at the request of my neighbors. This is truly a community problem. It could’ve happened to any of us. I’m hoping to buy cameras, and possibly look into a private investigator to see if we can catch this guy somehow. If he gets bored terrorizing my family, he may move onto to someone else.
