Help Cat used as Bait get the medic care he needs

Hi my name is Marissa, and I am fundraising for a male cat I named Buddy.

I was passing by in a car when I seen this cat limping in the street. It appears he has a broken leg.

I couldn’t just leave him there, so I had my bf get some cat treats and was able to take him home.

I fed him & tried bathing him as much as he’d allow.

 

He has purple dye on one of his legs and under part of his belly. I didn’t know what that meant at the time when I tried bathing him.

But that dye is used on cats that are used in baiting (dog fights). That could have been very well how his leg was broken. There were several other cats at the same location all appearing to also have URIs.

Buddy also appears to have a URI, and I believe he isn’t neutered.

 

Buddy is sweet and affectionate. You wouldn’t know the abuse he suffered prior. He was a little shy and scared at first, but has warmed up tremendously.

I want Buddy to have the love and care he deserves.

Which is why I made this Go fund me, so that I can get him the medical care he needs since I am unable to upfront the costs.

I Wont allow Buddy to go to a kill shelter.

The donations provided will be used to get Buddy vet care for his broken leg , URI, shots, and anything else pertaining to his well being.
