Help Cat Tony Recover From Dislocated Hip
Cat Tony is one of two cats that joined Filbert Street Garden as "working cats". Their primary job has been to keep rats out of the garden. Cat Tony and her sister Pumpkin Spice not only have done that job successfully, but when from shy & vicious ferals to two loving cats that greet guests of the garden.
We playfully call Cat Tony our garden's "vicious garden mini-panther" due to her tiny size and how ferociously she deals with rats that can be a hazard for our other animals.
On September 26, 2020, somebody passing the garden was greeted by Cat Tony for pets and affection. This person kicked Cat Tony so hard it dislocated her back left leg.
This is where we need your help! Repairing her leg so she will be able to live with full use of her leg again will cost $2000.00. Every donation no matter how small can make a difference for Cat Tony.
Cat Tony is retiring from service to the garden and going to live with the DeBarber Family that cares for the many animals at Filbert Street Garden. She is no longer "feral" and future arthritis issues would make living out the winters at the garden unkind to her.
Please, help Cat Tony recover.
