Hi. My name is Cathleen. My friends call me Cat. I am 52 years young and have been fighting Stage 4 Colon Cancer since 2016. Me and my loved ones have gone through many hardships over the past 7 years because of this terrible disease!! I have been through chemotherapy, radiation and multiple surgeries during this time, and have been in remission 3 separate times. I thought I was winning the battle! My cancer only spread to my liver for many years. A single tumor each time. And each time I was able to have them surgically removed.

However, in February of this year, 2023, my cancer returned and became more aggressive. And my world came crashing down around me!! I now have tumors in my liver, lungs and sternum. I feel that conventional medicine (chemo, radiation and surgery) is not going to save my life, and could potentially even end it. A lot of people who die from cancer, usually die because of the treatments they have undergone, and not the cancer itself!! And what oncologists don't tell you is that these harsh treatments do not kill cancer stem cells, and it is those stem cells that are responsible for future metastasis. I trusted the doctors for many years, and didn't do my research. Until now!! I have decided to stop chemo, which was killing me, and try a holistic approach.

This is a scary road to travel down, as doctors will tell you those treatments don't work. But after doing a ton of research and hearing about many Stage 4 success stories, using alternative medicine, I now know that this is my best chance at long term remission and survival!!

With that said... this path is extremely expensive, as insurance will not cover "holistic" treatments. Which is very sad!!

I have an amazing and supportive husband, fur baby, family and friends, and I do not want this wonderful life of mine to come to an end at such a young age.

I would like to raise enough money so that I can pay for the Alternative Cancer Clinic and get the treatments that I desperately need to save my life. The cost for just 3 weeks of treatment is around $50,000. I will then need to continue many holistic treatments at home, which will total around $2,000 a month. That is why I am trying to raise around $75,000.

It is very hard for me to ask for help, but I realize that this is no time to be prideful! We all need a helping hand at times, and this is one of those times!!
