Support Miss Megan’s Recovery
Our Castro Valley community is coming together to support someone who gives so much to our children every day — Miss Megan, a beloved preschool teacher in Castro Valley.
Recently, Miss Megan was the victim of a violent assault in Castro Valley. She suffered severe injuries, including a broken nose bridge, fractured eye socket, multiple deep facial lacerations, and dozens of stitches.
Miss Megan will require multiple surgeries and faces a long recovery period ahead.
Because this is part of an ongoing investigation, we cannot share many details right now. What we can share is that Miss Megan is currently unable to work while she heals. Her eyes were swollen shut after the attack, and she is facing both the physical recovery and the emotional impact of such a traumatic event.
Miss Megan has chosen to limit the photos shared here to protect her privacy during this difficult time.
Anyone who knows Miss Megan knows how deeply she cares for her students and this community. She shows up every day with patience, kindness, and dedication to the children she teaches. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
We are raising funds to help support Miss Megan during her recovery — covering medical expenses, lost income, and the many unexpected costs that come with healing from an attack like this.
All funds raised will go directly to Miss Megan to support her recovery.
If you are able, please consider donating. Every contribution helps. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others in the community.
Let’s surround Miss Megan with the same care and support she gives our children every day.
Thank you for standing with her.
This fundraiser was created by a Castro Valley parent with Miss Megan’s knowledge and permission, and all funds raised will go directly to support her recovery.
