Dear Family, Friends, and Kind Strangers,
As many of you know, I’m currently in school working toward becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN)—the first major step on my journey to ultimately become a Nurse Practitioner. This goal means the world to me.
Right now, I’m attending school full time at HCC Coleman in Houston, TX while also managing the responsibilities of running my household and working a full-time job. Unfortunately, the demands of my job are beginning to clash with my class schedule, and I fear I may not be able to keep my position much longer. I’ve been with my current employer for two years. While they’ve tried to accommodate me up to this point, I can sense that their flexibility is wearing thin.
I’ve applied for adjusted work hours, transfers to other departments, and even looked into positions outside the company—but so far, nothing has come through. I’m on track to graduate in December 2025, and I’m determined to make it there. However, I’ve now run out of savings, my bills are overdue, and the stress is overwhelming.
I’m reaching out in hopes that those reading this can support me during this critical time. Any donation, no matter how small, will help me keep a roof over my head and stay enrolled in school. This dream is too important to let go. If it comes down to it, I’ll choose school over a job—because a job can replace me, but I can’t replace the opportunity to build the life I’ve worked so hard for.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering a contribution toward my future.
With love and gratitude,
**Cassy**
