Cassius Ware has always been a champion, both on and off the field. From winning a State High School Football Championship at South Panola, to earning a national title at Northwest Mississippi Community College, and starring as a linebacker at The University of Mississippi, Cassius’s talent and determination have inspired countless fans and friends. He even reached the NFL, signing with the Indianapolis Colts, and later dedicated himself to helping others as a personal trainer and gym coach. I had the privilege of helping recruit Cassius to play college football, and I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact he’s had on so many lives.

Recently, Cassius faced an unexpected and life-changing challenge. After suffering an infection in his lower leg, he underwent surgery in Fargo, ND, which resulted in an amputation. Now, Cassius is in Las Vegas, being fitted for a prosthetic leg and working hard through rehabilitation. Despite having insurance, the medical bills and travel expenses have been overwhelming. Soon, Cassius will return home to Mississippi, where he’ll need support as he adapts to a new way of life and continues his journey toward recovery.

Cassius has always been a source of strength and inspiration for those around him. Now, he needs our help.
