Help Cassie Reclaim Her Music: A Stolen Guitar, a Lost Companion
In early April, while in New Orleans to play piano for a private event, professional musician Cassandra Krebs experienced a heartbreaking loss—her cherished guitar, a Taylor 714-CE, was stolen from her parked car in a garage. Despite filing a police report and pursuing action with the parking facility, months have passed with no resolution, no restitution, and little hope of recovery.
This wasn’t just a guitar. It was a trusted companion, a serious investment, and an irreplaceable part of Cassie’s journey as a full-time working musician. Every string, scratch, and note held years of songs, memories, and soul. Anyone who’s ever formed a bond with an instrument, a brush, or even a well-worn tool knows—some things carry more than just function; they carry spirit.
While we can’t replace the sentimental connection she had with that guitar, we can help her continue making music. Our goal is to raise enough to replace the stolen Taylor 714-CE and restore a vital piece of her creative voice.
If you believe in supporting artists, in kindness, or in helping someone get back on their feet after a painful loss, we hope you’ll consider donating or sharing this campaign. Even a small gift can help turn this story around.
Let’s help Cassie keep playing.
