Help Cassie Recover After a Life-Altering Accident
On August 13, 2025, my sister Cassie’s life was changed forever in a tragic accident trying to secure a drifting boat in Pago Harbor, American Samoa. While preparing to enter the water for her dive, the boat unexpectedly reversed. In that instant, the propeller caught her foot, causing a devastating injury. Despite immediate first aid and emergency surgery, doctors initially thought they could save her leg and gave us hope. However, after several days of waiting for a referral and medivac, the doctors were unable to save her leg, and Cassie is now an amputee.
Cassie has always been known for her active, adventurous lifestyle. She loved the ocean, running, and staying on the move; she is not someone who sits still. Becoming an amputee should not stop her from living the life she loves, but the reality is that recovery, rehabilitation, and prosthetics are costly and overwhelming.
Our family is asking for your support to help Cassie on this journey. Funds raised will go toward her medical expenses, recovery, and the prosthetic technology she will need to regain her independence. With your help, we can ensure she continues to live fully, not defined by what she has lost, but by the strength she carries forward.
Cassie is a fighter, and we know her story is far from over. Any contribution, big or small, will help her rebuild her life and return to the active, passionate person we all know and love.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Cassie.
