Hi, my name is Cara, and I’m raising funds to help my sweet dog, Cassie Mae. She’s a 13-year-old chihuahua mix who has been by my side through absolutely everything. Recently, she was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor that needs to be surgically removed.

Her surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25th and while I’m grateful that we caught it early and the surgeon feels hopeful, the medical costs have added up very quickly — from specialist consultations to diagnostic tests, bloodwork, an ultrasound the morning of surgery, the surgery itself, and any further treatments she may need after the surgery.

I’m doing everything I can to give Cassie the care she needs, but the expenses are overwhelming. I’m creating this GoFundMe to ask for support with her surgery and medical bills, so she can get the treatment she needs and continue living a happy, comfortable life.
