Hi there. My name is Cassie, I am 30 years old, a single mum to a beautiful 2 year old, and September 7th 2021 I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

 

I'm not normally one to ask for help. I'm very independent and have always felt I have provided for my daughter and I.



The last 3 months of my life has been a living hell. I am undergoing chemotherapy weekly, the side effects and mental stress has been a battle in itself. But we make it work, and we fight every day to beat this and come out the other side cancer free. I have a long road ahead, with more chemotherapy, surgery and radiation.

 

 

I have attended all appointments alone due to covid, being away from my little girl more than I have ever been in her life and it's been the hardest part. I am fatigued every day, simple tasks like playing in the yard or going to the park have become non existent, the gardens over grown, and more costs are coming in to cover for what I cannot do.

 

I have an amazing community offering practical support to help cut some costs. I am so grateful for the amazing humans who have offered to help my daughter and I. I will be forever thankful and will never forget them.

 

I am asking for some financial help to cover the extra costs coming in. The medical costs have been adding up, and each week I am struggling to provide what we need. Coming up to Christmas all I want is to feel as normal as possible for my little family.

In 2022 I have to travel for surgery and radiation for 3 to 5 weeks daily. It's not only going to be horrible to be away from my girl, but it's also going to cost.
