Hi! My name is Cassidy and if you know me you know I love animals more than anything in the world. A few months ago two cats popped up in my yard already ear tipped (neutered) so I’ve been feeding them ever since. A few weeks ago I noticed one of them had an injury to his tail, and it’s only gotten worse. I’ve reached out to try and receive rescue assistance however I know rescues across New York are EXTREMELY overwhelmed and overrun with animals so understandably, I have not received any assistance. Losing 3 cats of my own over the past 2 years, one due to a mass in his abdomen and 2 to chronic kidney disease I’m still financially recovering from their care, as well as still having 2 cats of my own to care for so I’m not in a position to be able to afford vetting for this cat. However I cannot continue to look at him in pain and not at least try my best to be able to help him. It would be so appreciated for anyone to be able to help even a tiny bit so I can get this cat care for his tail and put him back outside to live a happy and healthy life in my yard. I’m not 100% sure how much vetting for this injury will cost, if I do meet my goal and I do not need all of it I will be donating what ever is left over to SI hope animal rescue and SICAW. Thank you!!
