Help Cassidy fund her brain surgery!

Update - Cassidy’s angiogram was last week. The doctor found the narrowing he was expecting and an aneurysm (sigmoid sinus diverticulum) in the lower part of her brain. It's scary but the doctor is the head of his department at Baylor and he's really good. Surgery is scheduled for Sept. 13th. They will place a stent in the narrowed section and will repair the aneurysm at the same time. It will take approximately 4 hours after which she will be taken to ICU for a while. We have a virtual appointment Wednesday to go over everything they found during the angio and for more details on what we should expect on the 13th. I’m sure they will want another big chunk of change then too…

Hey everyone! I am Cassidy’s mom. Many of you already know that she has been trying for a good while to find out why she has a constant whooshing sound in her right ear. After waiting several months, she finally got in to an ENT who detected a significant hearing loss. Fast forward to the MRI results that led to seeing a neurosurgeon. Good news is - he can fix it! Bad news is her insurance deductible and amount they cover are ridiculous and brain surgery is expensive. The first procedure is a week from tomorrow! So… welcome to my first GoFundMe campaign!
