Operation Save a Hoof: Cassanova!
Handsome Cassanova needs your help! We’re raising $5,000 to cover his upcoming hoof surgery, medication, and follow-up care. The surgery, scheduled for February 20th with Arizona Mobile Vet, will remove a painful broken dewclaw. A part of the dewclaw broke off and is now floating inside of his foot, causing extreme pain and inflammation. Additional vet visits and ultrasounds are essential to ensure all bone fragments are cleared, allowing him to heal comfortably and get back to normal.

Cassanova’s Story
Cassanova arrived at BPR in 2021 after wandering into a horse boarding facility with his best friend, Valentine. Rescued by our Action Volunteer Team, the pair was neutered and welcomed into our sanctuary, where they quickly bonded with Freddy, a rescued farm hog. Their days are filled with hay, naps, and friendship.
A week ago, Cassanova’s hoof issue began, and now he needs urgent surgery to get back to his happy, healthy life with Freddy and Valentine by his side.
